How Free Tool Mate uses cookies
This page explains which cookies and local storage we use, why we use them, and how you can Accept all, Reject optional cookies, or Manage your choices.
Quick summary
- Tool input (text, files, images, calculator values) is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded for tool processing.
- Necessary cookies keep language, theme, and your cookie choice working.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and stay off until you allow them.
- You can change your mind anytime with Cookie settings in the footer.
Necessary cookies
These are required for basic site behaviour. They do not require an opt-in choice.
- ftm_lang — remembers the language you pick in the header (up to about 1 year).
- ftm_theme — remembers light or dark theme in local storage on your device.
- ftm_cookie_consent — stores Accept / Reject / Manage choices in local storage so we do not ask on every visit.
Analytics cookies (optional)
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics (measurement ID G-7J8G4HT4YP). Typical cookies include _ga and related Google Analytics cookies. They help us see which pages and tools are used, approximate region from IP, and device or browser type. We use this to improve the catalog, not to rebuild your tool input.
Advertising cookies (optional)
If you accept advertising, Google AdSense and related Google advertising technology may set cookies to show and measure ads that help keep the tools free. This can include ad identifiers and interaction data. In some regions Google may also show its own consent message for ads.
How consent works
On your first visit a cookie bar asks you to Accept all, Reject optional cookies, or Manage preferences. Optional categories default to off. Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and ad storage denied until you allow them. Rejecting optional cookies does not block tools; pages still work with necessary storage only.
How long choices last
Your consent record is kept in your browser until you clear site data or change Cookie settings. Analytics and advertising cookies follow Google retention rules when those categories are enabled.
