Text Compare
Paste two text blocks (about 50,000 to 100,000 characters is supported). Compare is line-based in the browser, using the same colors as JSON Compare. The table at the bottom lists each line number and whether it matches. Nothing is stored on the server.

About Text Compare
Compare two blocks of text online and highlight every line that was added, removed, or changed. This free text diff tool handles large inputs of roughly 50,000 to 100,000 characters, which makes it useful for reviewing documents, logs, config files, translations, and code snippets side by side. Differences are marked line by line so nothing is missed when two versions look almost the same.
Writers use text compare for article revisions. Developers use it for config and template drift. Support teams use it to see what changed in a customer email or a policy document. Translators compare source and target drafts. Unlike a JSON-aware diff, this tool treats input as plain text, so it works for Markdown, CSV, YAML-as-text, legal copy, and anything else you can paste.
Paste left and right, run the comparison, and scan the highlighted lines. You do not need to create files or install a desktop diff utility. Large but still browser-friendly limits keep the page responsive while covering most tickets and documents. If you only need JSON structure, use JSON compare or JSON diff instead; for everything else, start here.
All comparison runs in your browser, so confidential text is never uploaded. Contracts, source code, and personal notes stay on your device. Use this free online text compare and line diff tool whenever you need a clear, private view of what changed between two texts.
